Another question for the ages
Sep. 5th, 2010 05:23 pmWhy is it that you can't discriminate against people with kids when you advertise a house for rent, but you can say "no pets"? Frankly, most small children I've met have been a hell of a lot more destructive than my little dog ever could be.
(BTW, the first place we looked at fell through because the landlord decided he wanted to sell the place instead. And then he realized that was a stupid idea, and tried to get us to rent again, which we went along with until we saw his lease, which was basically so restrictive that we could've gotten evicted for sneezing too loudly. So, um...no.)
