Seriously, I'm sort of flabbergasted that I'm a nominee in the third round of the SS/HG awards. The Quality of Mercy is a finalist in the "action/adventure" category (I'm also a little surprised it ended up in that category, since I think of it more as drama, but hey, I'm not going to quibble), and I've also been nominated for Best Author! It's a little shocking, considering this was the first SS/HG I've ever written.
