And yet some Americans on my flist talk about being conflicted as to who to vote for. All I want to do is spam their LJs with comments using lots of capslock and questioning their sanity.

I actually used to be a very apolitical person. But after what I've seen Bush & Co. do to this country over the last eight years, I have had enough. I have made campaign contributions. I will probably be making political posts on this LJ, something I would have shied away from in the past.

It kills me that people would actually think more of the same is a good thing. (I don't give a shit that McCain tries to bill himself as a "maverick." He's sucking at the GOP's teat just like the rest of the old white men.) And this choice of Anti-Abortion Barbie as his running mate? Ridiculous. Sorry, McCain, I won't vote for someone just because she and I share the same chromosomal makeup. Palin is so diametrically opposed to my own beliefs it's not even funny.
