The Quality of Mercy is on more than 130 people's author alerts. Yoicks! I guess I should have been paying more attention to those "Story Alert" updates I keep getting in my inbox. (Frankly, I tend to ignore all that stuff unless it's a review.)

I guess that translates to roughly 15% of the people who have the story on alerts actually leaving reviews. Hmm. I have no idea what that means. :-P

Still, it's been getting more reviews than just about anything I've written (except No Return), so that's something. :-)

People are lazy. Sheer, feckin' laziness.

Have you seen this yet? It's really stupid... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tx1XIm6q4r4

But I've just come back from meditation group, and I couldn't freakin' meditate because my mind kept going snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape.

Twenty bloody minutes of snape, snape, severus snape.

Hhhm, there is a link in there, but it doesn't show up against your layout.

Oh, my GOD...that is hysterical!

I guess there are worse things to have stuck in your head (maybe).

The link showed up fine on my layout here, so I'm not sure what it was doing to you.

As for the rest...yeah, agree with you on the laziness thing. ;-)

Stats and Schnoogle

the Overlooked on Schnoogle hasn't been marked as complete. Just thought I'd let you know.

and a 15% response rate is great - it's usually even lower. A bit depressing, even with the numbers on Ff.net including people rereading bits before they go on to the new chapter.

I try not to let those sorts of things get to me too much, but it does make me wonder sometimes. However, I do know that it's probably difficult to come up with a new and exciting review for every chapter. :-P

That's odd about Schnoogle not having The Overlooked marked as complete, because when I go into Story Management for that fic, the "story is complete" box is checked off. Is there someplace separate I have to do it as well? (I've never quite figured out all the intricacies of how FA works.)
