Interesting statistics

The Quality of Mercy is on more than 130 people's author alerts. Yoicks! I guess I should have been paying more attention to those "Story Alert" updates I keep getting in my inbox. (Frankly, I tend to ignore all that stuff unless it's a review.)
I guess that translates to roughly 15% of the people who have the story on alerts actually leaving reviews. Hmm. I have no idea what that means. :-P
Still, it's been getting more reviews than just about anything I've written (except No Return), so that's something. :-)

But I've just come back from meditation group, and I couldn't freakin' meditate because my mind kept going snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape. snape, snape, severus snape.
Twenty bloody minutes of snape, snape, severus snape.

The link showed up fine on my layout here, so I'm not sure what it was doing to you.
As for the rest...yeah, agree with you on the laziness thing. ;-)
Stats and Schnoogle
Date: 2007-12-10 04:52 am (UTC)and a 15% response rate is great - it's usually even lower. A bit depressing, even with the numbers on Ff.net including people rereading bits before they go on to the new chapter.
Re: Stats and Schnoogle
Date: 2007-12-10 05:58 pm (UTC)That's odd about Schnoogle not having The Overlooked marked as complete, because when I go into Story Management for that fic, the "story is complete" box is checked off. Is there someplace separate I have to do it as well? (I've never quite figured out all the intricacies of how FA works.)
