Well, it's cheaper than a shrink...

I stole this meme from
logospilgrim. It's a fun little self-psychoanalysis test.

1. You are not alone. You are walking in the woods. Who is with you?
My husband, Erik.
2. You are walking in the woods. You see an animal. What kind of animal?
A doe.
3. What interaction takes place between you and the animal?
I hold out my hand, and she comes up and nuzzles it.
4. You walk deeper in the woods. You enter a clearing, and before you is your dream house. How big is it?
Medium to large...maybe four or five bedrooms.
5. Is your dream house surrounded by a fence?
No, but it has a low hedge.
6. You enter the house. You walk into the dining room and see the dining room table. What do you see on AND around it?
On the dining room table I see place settings for a large group of people, with crystal wine glasses and a floral centerpiece in the middle of the table. Around it are eight to ten chairs.
7. You leave the house and on the front porch there's a cup. What sort of cup is it?
It's a china teacup with a floral pattern.
8. What do you do with the cup?
I pick it up to see what's inside it.
9. You walk to the edge of the property where you find yourself standing at a ____ river.
Wide, smooth-flowing river.
10. How will you cross the water?
There's a rowboat. Erik and I get in it and row across, each with one oar.
Analysis:
1. The person with whom you are walking is the most important to you.
Well, that's pretty obvious to anyone who knows me....
2. The size of the animal is representative of your perception of the size of the problems in your life.
Fairly large, I guess, but not in a frightening way.
3. The severity of the interaction you have with the animal is representative of how you deal with your problems.
I guess I interact with them in a nonthreatening way, and they just sort of work themselves out.
4. The size of your dream home is representative of the size of your ambition to solve your problems.
Guess I was more ambitious than I thought.
5. A lack of a fence is indicative of an open personality. People are welcome at all times. The presence of a fence indicates a closed personality. You'd prefer people not drop by unannounced.
So what does a hedge mean? You can come over, but you have to call first? ;-)
6. If your answer did NOT include food, flowers, a drink, or people, then you are generally unhappy.
Whew, I guess the flowers saved me! (I think this also has to do with the fact that when I entertain, I like everything to be "just so." Hence, the table set, but with no one sitting at it yet.)
7. The durability of the material with the cup is made of is representative of the perceived durability of your relationships.
Well, porcelain can be fragile, but it can also last for hundreds of years if you take good care of it.
8. What you did with the cup is representative of your attitude.
I guess this means I'm a curious person?
9. The size of the body of water is representative of the size of your sexual desire.
Well, I already knew I was hot to trot. :-P Why do you think I write all those steamy scenes in my fics?
10. The way you cross the water is representative to how easy or hard you expect your life to be.
I obviously don't think it will be too difficult...and I'll do it with Erik at my side. :-)
