The good news is that it has finally started to cool down, and there are actual CLOUDS outside. You know, those white fluffy things that do the all-important job of blocking out the $%#@!! sun. So it's going to feel like Halloween...just in time. This makes me happy.

Another piece of good news is that since we're going back on Standard time over the weekend, I get an extra hour to par-tay at my All Hallows Bash on Saturday night.

The bad news is that Nano also starts on Saturday, so I have to make an attempt at squeezing in 1,667 words between cleaning the house, finishing the decorations, going to the store, and getting my hair done for the the all-important Palin do. Yikes! I don't know whether I should even try, or just attempt to do two days' worth on Sunday (assuming I'm not totally hung over).

Yes, I am the queen of bad timing.

Copy this sentence into your livejournal if you're in a heterosexual marriage/relationship (or if you think you might be someday), and you don't want it "protected" by the bigots who think that gay marriage hurts it somehow.

Is 1667 what I need to get through each day?

I really must start planning...

Yes, it comes out to 50,010 if you do 1,667 words each day. That's not a lot -- I've had days where I've written 5K when I was really in the swing of things. But you need those days to balance out the ones where you don't do diddly.

I keep hearing that guy from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome in my head: "Plan? There ain't no plan!"

God help us.

Well, first of all if you chose to write another Severus story I sure hope you will post it someplace where I can read it. I dug up some time and finished reading the Quality of Mercy, and even at some point I might dig up some time to comment coherently on it. It is an awsome fic of course.

Secondly I get to roll my eyes again because people don't know what they want. They complain how our race spreads around the planet at an alarming rate like a fungus and then they are also terrified of an insignificant percentage of population who doesn't have intention of reproducing.

And GO HALLOWEEN! I had a test yesterday, I had an assignment due today and I have another test tomorrow, but I fully intend to claim the creepy evening to have fun. Glory Hallelujah it's Saturday soon.

Oh, it'll definitely be another Severus story. I was considering posting it on ff.n as I went along, but then I thought I might be putting too much pressure on myself, so I'll probably write as much as I can during November and then start posting it in December.

Oh, these right-wing whack jobs make me sooo stabby. I'd really like to point out to them their unhealthy interest in other people's bedroom habits....

My hubby is dressed up as Professor Snape today. :-)
