I totally love this.

Oh, and just to add to her shimmering roster of support for the underprivileged, apparently Ms. Palin is against the rights of Alaska's native Eskimo population to subsistence hunting and fishing. Why let those pesky Eskimos take away fish and moose that commercial fishermen and big-game hunters have a God-given right to! Capitalism first -- you betcha!

You get them Christine!

Something tells me that soon you will be writing modern political novels.

Nah. I like to bitch about politics, but I wouldn't want to write a political novel. I like the kissy stuff too much. :-P

I thought bitching about politics is what political novels do. But I like reading your kissy stuff too much to wish that you would write about politics.

And thanks for the statistics. That made sense, although thinking about numbers makes my brain go Palin - aka incapable of rational thought and producing a wish to destroy something.

p.s. Darn, I forgot to ask whether you've seen any articles with statistics on Eskimo population. I went looking for the Alaskan, natives (insert various search terms here) ones but the sources only mention that there are roughly 670,000 people living in Alaska overall and they give a list of 19 cities in U.S. that are more populated. Yup, those Eskimo must REALLY be robbing the Capitalism economy.

And wtf happened to Godzilla if Ms. Palin's predecessors were there with it? It's a whole new extinction theory. In light of what happened to Godzilla poor Eskimos don't stand a chance unless someone semi-decent sticks up for their rights.

Not directly, no. I do know that native Alaskans make up roughly 15% of the state's population, if that helps any. So I guess you could extrapolate the numbers of native peoples by Alaska's overall population. (Apparently I goofed -- "Eskimo" is frowned upon. There are many indigenous tribes, so they tend to prefer to be called "Native Alaskan" if you don't know a person's particular tribal affiliation.)

Now we know why the dinosaurs went extinct -- it was nutcases with hunting rifles like Ms. Palin. :-P
