This one's making the rounds, so I thought I'd give it a try. Guess I'm not as well-read as I thought, but what I really want to know is whether I get bonus points for the ones I've taught. ;-) Still, I've read almost half of them. I have the amazing English department at my high school to thank for that, since I'm pretty sure I would never have picked up Tess of the D'Urbervilles of my own volition. ;-)

These are the top 106 books most often marked as "unread" by LibraryThing's users (as of today). As usual, bold what you have read, italicize what you started but couldn't finish, and strike through what you couldn't stand. (Please note; all originally foreign language books which I claim to have read, I have only read in translation). Add an asterisk to those you've read more than once. Underline those on your to-read list.
