We're getting thunder and lightning here. Now if it'll just knock the power out so we can all go home.... ;-)
(Seriously, this is big news for me, since SoCal mostly has extremely boring weather.)
ETA: And now it's pouring. Maybe it'll wash off my car.
ETA: And now it's HAILING. I hope it didn't DENT my car! :-(
ETA: OK, that was one of the scariest drives I've ever had to make in my life. The streets are totally flooded around here. I've never seen anything like it before in my life. And poor Erik chose today to ride his bike to work (there were no warnings of severe weather in this area). He's taking the bus home, because the bus is safer than having me go out to get him, but I'm still not going to calm down until he gets home....
